Performance Clutch Kits

If you are planning to significantly uprate the performance of your engine you must remember that you are expecting the standard clutch to transmit this additional power to the wheels.  The life of the standard clutch will be dramatically shortened by this extra power and it won't be long before it starts slipping. This is why an uprated clutch assembly is strongly recommended.  

Short Shift Kits

These reduce the amount of gear lever movement required in the fore and aft plane and sometimes in the left to right plane depending on the particular kit.  The reduction in movement is achieved by altering the length of the under-bonnet shift rods.

Counterweight Shafts

These work in conjunction with the short shifter to assist in the gear change process.  The inertia of the specially calibrated weight makes every gear change smoother, faster, less notchy and far less effort.
