Improved Braking Performance

If you intend to increase the power of your engine then improving its braking efficiency is a must.  Even if your engine is standard and your driving is at all spirited then the advantages of better braking are obvious.

There are various ways of improving braking:

• Simply choose a better brake pad compound such as the Black Diamond Predator range.
• Choose better brake discs which benefit from being drilled or grooved on the pad contact surfaces.  This allows the gases which build up between pad and disc (causing brake fade) to be expelled.  Black Diamond produce various formats of superb performance brake discs.
• Replace the rubber flexible brake hoses (which expand during hard braking causing increased pedal travel) with Goodridge steel braided hoses.
