Suspension Modifications

Improving a car's handling can involve many different processes:

• Firmer damping
• Stiffer lower spring rates
• Increased roll resistance
• Reduced movement of mountings and bushes

Suspension settings are a compromise between passenger comfort and handling. Original factory suspension is normally aimed far more towards passenger comfort than handling.  Uprated suspension will dramatically improve vehicle handling and with modern progressive springs and gas dampers the loss of comfort is minor.
